Electricity

Electricity
Faraday was the first to use electromagnetic effect to generate electricity. By the end of the 1870s, there were powerful generators, and in 1881, the first power station at Godalming (England). It became the world's first hydroelectric power station, because the generator powered the water mill.
In electric motors and generators have a lot in common, and some machines can perform both functions. In a simple electric motor wire coil is mounted on a shaft that allows it to rotate freely between the poles of a horseshoe permanent magnet. The coil plays the role of the electromagnet, nominacija during the passage of an electric current through it. The iron core inside the coil increases the magnetic effect is created.
